BEST is a volunteer committee that is comprised of individuals from the Cities of Frazee and Detroit Lakes, business owners, the Regional Chamber, local bankers, the Business & Entrepreneurial Services at M State and educators.

• Work to build community wide support systems designed to help new and expanding businesses and entrepreneurs.
• Strengthen the tie between economic development and the regional community at large.
• Provide multiple doors to the region’s economic development resources and services that assist businesses and entrepreneurs to get what they need to grow and thrive.

The purpose of the Business & Entrepreneurial Support Team (BEST) is serious planning that must be conducted to make sure the Detroit Lakes Region remains an attractive, healthy and vibrant place to visit, live, learn, work and play.
